Business Headshot for Northwood Reality

Business headshots can be used by companies for all kinds of purposes including business cards, social media, public relations, print collateral, advertising, and even for billboards.  And I think Northwood Reality used this photo, and all the others I took of their Real Estate Agents, for ALL of these purposes.  There was a bit of a tweak in post-production to give the campaign an edgy look, which I really like. that helps brand the photos and the company.

We had two days set aside to photograph dozens of agents.  I think that they might of been in town for a video shoot down the street, so they only had to get dolled up once, and we shot them in various poses on a white background.  We concentrated on smiles, but covered every expression that we could get out of the subject.

Of course, some of the subjects were more photogenic then others, so maybe not everyone made a billboard, but lots of the people I photographed in those two days were used for multiple purposes.  It was a fun shoot and I really enjoyed the people from Northwood and the people from Applebox Studios.  I hope to do it again some time soon… :o)

Here’s how we originally cropped the image in the camera. We used a high quality camera with enough resolution to crop in and still get enough pixels to get the job done.
